Help for Junior High Homeschooling

Homeschooling during the grammar school years can be fairly easy to accomplish thanks to the many wonderful curriculum choices available. But when the crucial junior high years
are approaching, many parents turn to the Challenge level classes at Classical Conversations
for help. Challenge A is a homeschool class for junior high, typically the 7th grade, and
it has been amazing for our family to experience. The class meets together one day
per week, with an experienced tutor, and students work at home with their parent
or homeschool teacher the other four days. Subjects included are
Saxon Math 8/7 (Algebra), Henle Latin 1, World Geography, Rhetoric, Biology, and Writing. This meets all the requirements for junior high and you can be confident that your 7th grader will be on track, and quite a bit ahead, of his/her peers in the public school realm. In the University Area of Charlotte, Challenge A meets every Tuesday starting in mid-August from 8:30 am to 3 pm at Crossway Community Church.
